dot tricks

Dot is starting to like walking around holding just one hand. As soon as you let go, she'll just sit down-but some day she will get it.



Dot loves to hear people sing (especially Alicia Keys, Mummy, the teletubbies and the kids in primary) and sometimes she sings along. Uncle Sam will be happy with this song we've started singing together. That sounds like America will like the song, but dot actually has an uncle sam and he's an opera singer.

Casey likes my music

As you know, I've never been on the up and up with the music scene
And it never bothered me much. But I have to say, when Casey asked me for some music that I had bought on my own (granted so did the rest of the world)- it felt pretty good. Here is what she got:




"No One" is SOOOOO good. Dotty loves it and has even learned how to sing the chorus. Casey and Michelle are my witnesses.


I hope she doesn't lose her touch in rehab.

And she's going to ask for this too, I just know it. So far I only have it pre-ordered because it isn't released in the US yet.

Tell him to wear it

I wanted to thank Cory for being such a great dad to Dot. He stays home with her and takes so much care to play imaginative games with her and teach her about the world. I love my job and love going to work, but sometimes I have to say that I feel sad about what I am missing at home, but I never feel bad for too long because I know that Dotty is getting such a rich experience with her poppi.
But then I feel bad because I know they are having so much fun.

Well anyway...I found this and had to get it for him. Right now all of our make shift diaper bags are pretty girly and not very functional. This seemed perfect for a hip and handsome young dad. Cory's reluctant to wear it, but you have to tell him its awesome!
