I found this etsy shop via design mom, and had to have this jacket for little Townes. Pretty cute!

Cory the Chef

I never got around to posting this. A few months ago I had a terrible cold and Cory made me homemade chicken noodle soup...with homemade noodles!

We took Dot to Coraline on Friday. The little creepy girl loved it of course. We tried to take a picture of Dot in her 3D glasses, but only had an iphone with no flash. Here is my tribute.

Music Rehearsal

Dotty pretty much insists on music time every night. I think we are gearing up for a recital. This was last night's session. Tonight's session involved a skirt, heeled shoes and a lot of interpretive dance. These videos show last night's first run. Some of the lyrics are a little rusty. Bear with us.

Fake Up

Is what dotty calls make-up. Just thought that was a very clever misnomer.

six of six

1. go to the my pictures site on your computer

2. go to your sixth file

3. go to your sixth picture

4. blog about it

5. tag 6 people

I finally got tagged with this cool assignment. This picture was taken probably a year and half ago- at temple square in SLC. I think this is a neat picture...

I tag Gill, Nicole and Dusten and anyone else that hasn't done this yet.

Favorite Book

I was thinking of this book the other day. It was written by one of my philosophy professors at BYU and it is my absolute favorite. It changed my life- how I saw myself, how I saw others, how I lived everyday. I've since loaned it out to a number of people, but if you haven't read it yet, please do. Find it here
My favorite quote in the book goes something like "we are neither the awful person we think we are nor the amazing person that we pretend to be..."
or something like that.

One night last week we had dinner with Dusten and Nicole (delicious chicken fajitas) and Dot and Ollie showed us how grown up they are. This is them sharing the basketball together. These two kids seriously love each other a lot! It is so cute.

sorry this is so dark
