Reading
I've been so obsessed with Google Readerthat I haven't even needed to visit my blog to check out my friend's goings ons...
So I didn't realize how boring my blog was getting. Here are a few things that have happened around the Dot LeSueur household the past couple of weeks.
1. I had a birthday and it was great
2. Cory threw me a birthday bbq
3. I got him a bbq for father's day so he could do it.
4. I had a great time with everyone who came all the way out to Herriman to celebrate. Thanks Alysha, Danny, michelle, Nicole and Dusten, Darin and Suzy and especially Cory's mom for all her help!
6. I took the bus one more time.
5. Cory hooked up with a design partner who has been giving him tons of projects to work on at home
6. Cory bought a new laptop to help him get all the stuff done.
7. Dotty learned how to take pictures all by herself. Here is the proof.
I helped a little bit. But she pressed the button. I also took some pictures of her, but as you can see- she has a little bit of a delayed response with the smiles. She always smiles really cute after the flash. We'll have to work on that.
Although, maybe its kind of cute this way- she just looks really content.

The Burbs
So since we live so far from Salt Lake City- and since gas is now $4.00 a gallon- I've decided to do my part and try taking the bus to work.
I take the 347 Fast Bus from Herriman to Salt Lake and make one transfer in downtown SLC.
Its a good thing I'm on the carpooling green team at work so I can count the two hours I spend figuring out my best route as "research". I had so many options to choose from but in the end I chose the only route that allowed me to only transfer once and didn't require me to drive really at all. It actually inspired me to help other people figure out their best route to work. We brainstormed a "3form bus day" where every employee takes the bus and we take pictures of the empty parking lot. That would be cool.
Here is what I brought to read on the hour long bus ride...
Yup- that's 8 pages of maps and schedules in my lap. I told you it was complicated. Actually this picture was taken before I was too carsick to read. I actually ended up waiting it out on the fast bus and then reading my newsweek after I transferred. LOVE that now I have time to read it! It just started coming in the mail randomly!
Here's to high gas prices!

I'm back
And the first thing I did last night when we got home was dance with Dot along with the dancers from SYTYCD (So You Think you Can Dance?)
They are really stepping it up this year, and I'm really excited with everyone so far. So glad that my least favorites got voted off and anxious about who will be voted off next week (they are all so good)
Dotty likes it when we fast forward all the talking and get straight back to the music. Last night she was practicing her one dance move (marching) and trying to get it at a fast speed. Really cute. I love that it is summer now and we can see her chubby legs all the time! Its so good to be back.

Asher & Mo
Hung out with this little superman today at the show and it totally helped with being so far from Dotty. His name is Asher Kal-El Fritz, and isn't he a great set up for Dotty? This little guy made me feel good. Laughed at all my jokes, and agreed with all the things Mo and I talked about. He's a great conversationalist.
Also great to be with his cool mom/former 3form model(She does pretty good behind the camera too)
Thanks for keeping me company on my last day in 3form land Fritzes.

San Fran #5
On Monday the girls headed to the city on the train to do some shopping. Dotty said "Hi" to people on the train until she was tired of being the same place then she said, "bye- go go"
Here she is paying a street drummer (who she loved) 50 cents. He couldn't get mad because she was so cute! Smiling at him the whole time.
This was also the day we bought these. She will leave them on all day if we let her. She puts them on and claps and says "yay, yay". Doesn't she look like an Olsen Twin circa 2006?
To see all of the pictures from our trip, check out our picasa site. There are so many more cute pictures that I didn't have time to post about. Tomorrow I'll post about the giant woman standing in our stairwell...I know you are intrigued!
