Dotty has three new friends. I think she identifies with them since, like her, they are round, airy and generally make the world a better place. Dotty met these friends at her great grandpa Karl's 80th birthday party. They didn't really connect there since Dotty was too busy making the rounds, meeting cousins and aunts. But a week later, at an intimate dinner at her great grandparents' house, they reconnected. And I don't want to be the one to gossip on my daugther, but they ended up coming home with us.
Honestly it is so cute to see her with the balloon buddies. She'll spot them when they are across the room and so I'll bring them over and she'll just start kicking her legs and waving her arms and her face goes crazy. She likes to hold on to them, or if she gets really excited I'll just tie the ribbon to her wrist and let her go to town. All the excitement gets her really tired though. Its always nap time after balloon time.
