We stayed with my sister for the first half of the week in Canada. Dotty doesn't have many girls her age to interact with and so this was a week of indoctrination in everything girly. They played dress up, dancing to 'Hairspray', played school at the chalkboard, and endless games involving dolls and dressing up dolls. It was pretty magical to witness.
Dotty loved wearing any of their 5 pairs of princess shoes.
Not so into the crowns...
All the girls together coloring! So cute.

It's important that we socialize those gender roles early. I'm a little shocked that you hadn't worked to make her feminine earlier.
The girls colouring is my favourite pictures. - And Greg - boys like playing with dress up clothes and like colour as well - it's just that Chase can't sit up yet.
Oh ya...invite Peirce to that party and he'd be RIGHT into the dress up and coloring. Whenever we visit the Letourneau's he always dresses up. It always bothered Allen because Peirce wears dresses there all the time. One day he asked him why he didn't dress up as a cowboy or something like that and Peirce's reply was classic, "Because they only have dresses dad! They don't have cowboy clothes." What's a boy to do? You can only work with what you have to work with!
