For Aunt Gilly
During our Christmas Holiday in Calgary, Aunt Gilly introduced Dotty to dancing and dancing outfits. As you've probably noticed, we have a very limited selection at home with only my old (teenage) pieces to choose from. We just got Dot's birthday present from the Rasmussens in the mail and look what she got!
We had to put it on first thing this morning and try it out with the Yo Gabba Gabba dance roll call.

We are so glad she likes it. Her dancing is priceless. Jackie right now is wearing a dancing desss like it and it is almost killing her that she is not with Dotty. If Dotty were here, Jackie would be the teacher and she would be the student. Instead she has alternated between teaching imaginary, playing the teacher and the student with "pause the game" in between character switches,and making me a student.I am not a very good student: I won't wear a ballet dress, and I pick up a book I am reading whenever the teacher looks away. Jackie keeps saying, " I know you like to read, but I have to tell you again, there is no reading in ballet class". Hope Dotty gets lots of wear out the dress before it gets too small.
Oh my gosh she looks so cute in her new dancey dress. Her dance moved are awesome.
Go Go Go Dotty! Go GO GO Dotty!
